Extreme Tux Racer – Now Playable in Your Browser!

Hey everyone! 🎉

I’m excited to share a new project I’ve been working on: a browser port of Extreme Tux Racer! 🐧💨 Now you can race down icy slopes at high speed directly in your web browser—no downloads required!

What’s New?

This isn’t just a simple port; the original code has been almost completely rewritten in TypeScript and GLSL to make it run smoothly in modern browsers. Here’s what’s been done so far:

✅ Full rewrite in TypeScript & GLSL for web compatibility
✅ Optimized assets & levels to work seamlessly in the browser
✅ Smooth performance on most devices

What’s Next?

This is just the beginning! I’m actively working on:

🔹 Touch controls for mobile users
🔹 More levels to keep the challenge going
🔹 A proper game menu for easier navigation
